About the story:
1805, in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest the people of the Eagle clan were a prosperous nation, sharing their bountiful life with the renegade mountain man Kaz and his family. Then not one but two ancient terrors entered their world. Terror from below in the form of man-eating giants that rose from deep caverns beneath the earth, and terror from above in the form of dragons that swoop down and steal away the people of the tribe.
On their heels arrives a third terror.
