I see a river of crystalline aquamarine.

It springs from The Mountain,

Cloud adorned peak rising beyond the sky

To the Realm of Beyond Above.

The river flows from The One.

The Throne.

The Forever.

I drink.

I live.

I pass through the Pillars of Fire

Bow to the glory of

The Seen.

The True.

Revived.

Refreshed.

Alive in full I return to the world of men.

I look across the River that

Divides the Infinite from the

Time locked world of humanity.

I watched from the shore that sees but cannot be seen.

Mankind, male and female,

They each alone must decide

How they will join immortality.

Alas few even realize the test they are in.

They stroll along and

pretend they do not grow closer to the River every day.

They imagine they can push it away

As the quiet water laps at their ankles.

Fruitless fantasies.

The River is moved by none.

Neither man, nor angel, nor ones like me.

The day of your crossing was written

Before you were an Is.

All mortals must cross at their appointed time.

For men, this crossing is always, ever, only, on…
