SUNLIGHT BAR - NO TROLLS
A totally new short story from 2013, found footage if you will
Note from the Author (that’s me): This little story is a thing of its own. I found it in a folder on my backup drive that was dated 2013. It was in what was probably draft version 1.5 since the first half was fairly clean but the second half was riddled with errors. I don’t know what I was thinking when I wrote it, what prompted it. Maybe it was a creative diversion after ingesting a few too many Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett books back to back. Maybe it was stirred up in my mind while out on a Boy Scout trip telling stories of Trolls and Princesses and the Warriors that get between them while sitting on a stone beach, the dancing lights of a campfire flickering across enraptured faces staring into the wild fjords of Prince William Sound where the story plays out in technicolor on the landscape in their imaginations (dang…that’s a vivid memory). Maybe it was too much coffee. Maybe it was something they gave me at the VA.
